How To Fix Your Xbox 360 Yourself

Are you are having problems with your xbox 360 like three flashing red lights near the power button, or the red error ring, or other problems with overheating, graphic errors, and freeze ups? Well, you are not alone. Albeit the xbox 360 is far superior to other game consoles, it is not perfect and your only choices for repair are to ship it back to microsoft or do the repairs yourself.

The overheating problem is one of the most common issues and it can be fixed most of the time by putting the console in a more ventilated place. However, hardware failure (i.e., the three flashing lights) is the worst. You can unplug and restart the console and sometimes this fixes the issue but often you will see the same error or after playing for a while it will happen again. The system will need to have repairs done. microsoft is able to perform these repairs, but the unit has to be shipped to them. This can take a few weeks and depending on the severity of the problem can cost you around $150 to have the problem fixed. So hopefully after a few weeks and $150 later microsoft was able to fix the issue and your xbox 360 is returned without being damaged in transit.

As you can see this solution far out ways the turnaround time from microsoft and it's much cheaper in fact you can make money from it.

Dark Sector Preview

Dark Sector was one of those video games (along with Killzone 2) that first made its debut at E3 2005, but was missing in action afterwards. This has all changed during the summer because some new details regarding the Dark Sector have been released. Dark Sector is a third person shooter for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

At first glance, Dark Sector seems to be in the same vein as gears of War, Tom Clancys ghost Recon Advanced Warfare, and Resident Evil 4. However, it is not a gears of War, Tom Clancys ghost Recon Advanced Warfare, or Resident Evil 4 game. Dark Sector has some similarities with gears of War and Tom Clancys ghost Recon Advanced Warfare; furthermore, they entail utilizing your environments and taking cover.

The protagonist in Dark Sector is Hayden Tenno (CIA agent with uncanny abilities). He will encounter a wide variety of adversaries from genetically altered fiends to humans. Fortunately, gamers have an ace up their sleeve with Hayden Tenno. You will have your usual assortment of weapons that are, but are not limited to handguns, shotguns, machine guns, and so on. From the Dark Sector gameplay footage, we can infer that players will have a boomerang-like weapon (ala ninja Gaiden or Blade). The most unique weapon at your disposal has to be the boomerang due to its versatility. Dark Sector was scheduled for a 2007 release date, but has been delayed. The game developers are in an odd predicament with Dark Sector.

There are essentially in a damned if you do, damned if you dont scenario which can equate to a lose-lose situation. Releasing the game in 2007 would be an arduous sell as games like halo 3, Mass Effect, call of duty 4, and Assassins Creed will be available. A 2008 release date would leave Dark Sector competing against Grand Theft Auto 4, Too human, and Metal Gear Solid 4. Regardless of a 2007 or 2008 release date, Dark Sector will be delving into some fierce competition. Dark Sector is slated to be on video games shelves in 2008.

Watch Out For Knock Off Golf Clubs

When you find the best set of clubs and you get them for a great deal, you are lucky. Maybe not, if you happen to be one of the many people who have brought what they believed were the real thing and hated the clubs, you might have brought knock off golf clubs. If you do not know this, you may be inclined to tell people that brand is horrible for golfing and in the end the real manufacturer loses business. Knock off golf clubs can discredit a real business and this is why laws are in place to protect not only the consumer but also the manufacturer.

Knock off golf clubs have a difference, even though small, a pro would notice the difference, but a novice golf might not. Counterfeit and knock offs hurt everyone and it is illegal. Although it is illegal to sell and buy counterfeit golf clubs, for the most part, the seller is liable more than the buyer.

The Differences With Knock off golf Clubs

The designs are slightly different in cosmetics, but the grips, heads and shafts are usually bought from the same place as the originals. Reputable knock off golf club dealers will tell you they are knock offs, but counterfeit dealers will sell them as the real thing.

Cosmetics of knock off are different as with the logo, and this makes them legal, the counterfeit will illegally use the logo of the manufacturer without permission. You will no an illegal club from a knock off, but is it worth the money.

Are Knock off golf Clubs A Better Value

Knock off dealers claim to use the same parts from the same distributors and therefore, say their product is the same for a cheaper price. Manufacturers disagree on this statement. They have engineers that work hard at providing the best golf clubs you could fine. They feel the knock offs are not as good as their own products.

One thing to remember is, store brand golf clubs might be selling under the store name, but made by the same manufacturer as say the Nicholas items. The difference is the packaging, logo and price. However, you are buying a top-notch product under a different company name.

Another way to explain this is:

You go to the grocery store and buy a box of Cheerios, and then go to the next store and buy a box of Costco Cereal. The package is different, the name is different and the logos are different as well as the cost. However, you are buying the same product under two different names.
